1. What do you bring to a party?

The Reptileman shows in San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas. We bring between 8 and 15 really cool pets from around the world with us, usually to include snakes, lizards and turtles. Kids of ALL ages get an intriguing hands on experience they and their friends will never forget. Our exciting presentation is approximately one hour long and covers habitat, nutrition, reproduction and characteristics that make each animal very unique. We share do’s and don’ts for buying pets and there is always a question and answer time for the children, they love this part.

2. How much will it cost?

The cost varies based on each individual event. Birthday party fees start at $125.

3. Can you come to my school?

Yes. The Reptile Man has been cleared through NISD, NEISD and SAISD as a presenter in those districts. We have also been to private schools as well.

4. How far in advance do I need to book my party?

We suggest that you book your party at least 4-6 weeks in advance, as our calendar fills up quickly. However, if you have waited until the last minute to plan your special event (or you found us at the last minute!), give us a call anyway! We just might have an opening for your birthday surprise or event!!

5. What do I need to provide?

We will need a small table, preferably about 6’ long, an eager audience, and payment, of course. Also, please make sure to leave a close parking space for The Reptile Man on the date of the party - he is carrying numerous pounds of critters! And, if you live in a gated community, please let us know in advance and give us the code or other instructions for getting in. Thanks for your help in this matter!

6. What methods of payment do you accept?

We take cash, personal checks and will accept payment through paypal online on our website! Thereptileman.net

7. Do you bring anything poisonous?

Actually, the term would be venomous, but no, nothing we have is venomous.
(Poison is something you ingest, venom is something you get bitten or stung to have coursing through your body!)

8. How long is the presentation?

About an hour presentation and we focus on having an absolute blast, with 45 minutes of presentation and the rest for pictures and questions. The Reptile Man and his friends will make the day super special for the birthday person, and allow them to hold and experience almost every reptile. Make sure you have plenty of film/disk space for your camera or phone! There will be lots of great photo opportunities!

Scheduling Suggestion: Schedule the Reptile Show 30 minutes after your party begins to give the guests plenty of time to arrive & get acquainted. Food should be served either before or after the reptile experience, in order to ensure cleanliness. We ask that kids are not eating or drinking during the program.

9. Where is the best environment to have the event?

We can do the presentation indoors or outdoors, however if you want to have your party outdoors, the temperatures must be comfortable to humans (not too hot or too cold), as reptiles are cold-blooded and become the temperatures of their surroundings. Ideal temperatures are between 68-88 degrees.
